By accessing or using Swipr ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Swipr is a marketplace platform connecting customers with independent service providers for home services in Ontario, Canada.
Registration: You must provide accurate, complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining password confidentiality.
Account Types: Customer accounts, Service Provider accounts (companies), Serviceman accounts (individual workers).
Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use Swipr.
Booking Process: Customers can book services through the app or website. Bookings are subject to provider availability and approval.
Service Providers: All providers are independent contractors, not employees of Swipr. Providers are responsible for the quality of their work.
Pricing: Prices are set by service providers. Swipr charges a platform fee/commission on each transaction.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Swipr holds payments in escrow until service completion.
Refunds: Refund eligibility depends on our Cancellation Policy. Full refund if provider no-show. Partial refund for incomplete work.
Provider Payouts: Providers receive payment weekly (minus commission) or instant payout (2% fee).
Customer Cancellations: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before scheduled service. 50% charge for cancellations within 24 hours. Full charge for no-shows.
Provider Cancellations: Providers must give at least 2 hours notice. Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension.
Refund Timeline: Refunds processed within 5-7 business days to original payment method.
Prohibited Activities: Harassment, discrimination, fraud, providing false information, circumventing the platform for direct payments, posting inappropriate content.
Reviews: Must be honest and based on actual experience. We may remove fake or defamatory reviews.
Limited Liability: Swipr is a marketplace platform. We are not liable for the quality of services provided by independent contractors.
Dispute Resolution: Contact support for disputes. We will mediate between customers and providers. Unresolved disputes may be referred to arbitration.
Insurance: Service providers are required to maintain liability insurance.
All content, trademarks, and intellectual property on Swipr are owned by Swipr Inc. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
Changes: We may update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.
